My painting for the JAV Painting Competition! <3 I don’t care if I only made it to the finalist round, the experience was well worth the effort.

WIP 40x40” painting for a competition. The deadline’s at midnight. To be honest, I only started two days ago. I’ve been too caught up with school and work to start (despite the advanced notice). I have to redo the sky too (which explains the strange texturing at the top). I’m not even close to starting with the details yet. Despite all these things, I think my pace is pretty good. I’ll definitely finish it by this afternoon. :))
Two of the three designs I made for Boysen a couple of months back. But since they took back their plans (which resulted to me vowing never to work with them again) due to Citem’s inability to think of a better landmark for San Juan which was one of the cities I’m assigned to, I’m planning on adapting this for my painting for Vision Petron. I’m totally excited and ready for this one~ It’s time to bring honor to my school once again! :>
If you’re between the age of 18-25, a photographer, a painter, or a designer from the Philippines, and currently going to a college or university, maybe you should check this competition out! Selected schools have already been given prior notice about this competition, so I guess you can either ask your profs if they got the memo or you can check out Vision Petron’s website here. Join this competition so you can get a chance to win up to P50,000 in cash and an Abueva sculpture!

This might forever be a WIP. :c

Experimenting with photoshop again so I can discover what kind of style I wanna use for my competition pieces. This one has a sort of watercoloury mood to it which I like a lot.

My digital painting process of the lovely pole dancer’s face. It’s my first time really painting a face (and doing it pretty well). I know the lips aren’t done yet but I’ll get there.
Screenshot of the spread for FAP. After 2 days of hard work it’s finally done. Now I can move on to finalizing the layout and it’s done!
